We are working with a global leader in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, renowned for their commitment to innovation and improving patient outcomes. They are looking for a senior Platform Architect to lead the design and management of their ServiceNow platform.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining the structure of the platform, making sure it runs efficiently, securely, and connects well with other systems. You will also lead and guide technical teams, set standards and best practices, and collaborate with business leaders to make sure the platform supports the company’s needs.
Tasks
Define and design the overall architecture of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it aligns with the company's goals and IT strategy
Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM, CSM, App Engine, and Automation Engine
Build and maintain the Master and Target architecture to guide development teams and foster a collaborative development environment
Lead the creation of complex workflows, automation processes, and integrations within the platform
Design and manage the strategy for integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, including APIs, third-party tools, and databases
Establish governance frameworks to ensure platform integrity, including compliance, security, and best practices for development and operations
Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and ServiceNow administrators to gather requirements and propose tailored solutions
Serve as the primary technical advisor for all ServiceNow-related projects and initiatives
Mentor and guide developers, administrators, and team members on platform design and best development practices
Ensure compliance with organizational processes (GxP, Qualification, etc.) and industry guidelines
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and the effective use of ServiceNow solutions
Requirements
At least 10 years of experience in IT service management and architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in an architect role focused on ServiceNow solutions, architecture, and governance
Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, ITIL processes, and governance frameworks
Proven experience managing large-scale ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, and integrations across enterprises
Expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HR Service Delivery, Source to Pay, PA, CSM, Integrated Risk Management, and Creator Studio
In-depth knowledge of the ITIL framework and its application within ServiceNow
Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining governance and best practices in multi-ServiceNow environments
Experience designing and implementing at least two major ServiceNow solutions
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, CSDM data model, and development tools (Studio, Flow Designer, Automation Engine, etc.)
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
