Position Details

This is a position with a grade to be specified. The role reports to the Service Sales Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities, and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Your focus will be on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will build long-term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. The work model is hybrid, contributing to Robotics – Autonomous Mobile Robots Service Sales in Spain.

  • Penetrate into IB, promote upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions to benefit customers and ABB.
  • Understand channel strategy, establish related prices, prepare sales plans, review them, and propose recovery plans when needed.
  • Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and exploring potential new service portfolios.
  • Act as a marketer and salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).

Qualifications for the Role
  • Engineer or higher degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Automation, etc.
  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive sales or service.
  • Engaged in and enjoys working with industrial robots and autonomous mobile robotics in industries such as automotive, food & beverage, logistics, and others.
  • Enhanced knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems, SAP, etc.
  • Passionate about technology, technical products, and services, with the ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Current B1 driving license valid in Spain.
  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Willing to travel 50%, managing collaboration with customers onsite and online.
