Service Operations Administrator

Barcelona, Spain

Your contribution

In this challenging and important role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Tecan’s service support department. The primary objective is to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by efficiently managing service operations, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery, and continuously improving service processes. This is a Shared Service Center function mainly to support Tecan Germany in their daily tasks.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Calculation and preparation of service contracts and quotations for billable services.
  • Processing sales orders, service contracts and service-related activities using SAP ERP system.
  • Accurate maintenance of customer and instrument master data, order backlog, service contracts, documentation, and contact information.
  • Communication with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of service tasks.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of performance metrics.
  • Organize and manage personal workload and documentation independently.
  • Contribute to achieving group, department, and company goals .

Your background

  • Commercial Administration / Business Administration background
  • Experience in Customer Service, Sales / Service Back-office function
  • German & English (Fluent) and Spanish as business language
  • Proficiency in using Office 365 Suite including Excel & Outlook, ERP system (SAP) and General Technical Understanding
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, high level of customer service orientation.
