NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for various international Business Units of the Group.

What is the purpose / mission of the position?

The Service Officer specializes in technology and is responsible for ensuring the stable delivery of IT services to internal and external customers using advanced monitoring and reporting techniques.

What you will do

As a Service Officer, you will guarantee the stable provision of IT services to customers, utilizing advanced monitoring (Health / Performance monitoring, APM, AIOps, DEM, etc.) and reporting techniques. You will also act as a liaison between IT and the business, collaborating with departments, business units, and service providers to ensure IT services meet business requirements and SLAs.

Your main responsibilities include :

  • Defining release management process objectives, KPIs, and policies, and tracking improvements within your IT domain.
  • Formalizing and overseeing release plans, including testing, documentation, operational procedures, and rollback plans.
  • Applying technical and administrative oversight throughout the lifecycle of release items.
  • Coordinating with architecture, platform, and product managers to plan and schedule releases, considering associated risks.
  • Managing release changes into production through controlled processes, aiming to automate configuration updates for efficiency.
  • Providing release status reports and acting as a liaison with other process managers to ensure alignment.
  • Designing, maintaining, and delivering training on release management processes, emphasizing communication with other groups.

Who you are

  • Strong knowledge of Service Management (ITIL, etc.), methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with IT technologies, automation, networking, and Cloud.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments and project management.
  • Solid understanding of IT principles, hardware, software, and Cloud services.
  • Experience in writing clear procedures.
  • Risk management skills, with a focus on performance and security.
  • Ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
