We are looking for a Service Engineer (m / f / d) based in Madrid.

As a Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting our field service activity. This role will involve traveling across Spain to visit the sites where our towers are placed and conduct a series of routine checks, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality of the towers. In your role, you will represent BauWatch to our customers and contribute to their overall satisfaction.

What would be your responsibilities and duties?

  1. Detecting and diagnosing malfunctions or technical problems of the Towers and determining the right solution, both on location and remotely.
  2. Apply standard solutions in case of malfunctions, but also come up with solutions in case of complex technical problems where standardized solutions are not sufficient.
  3. Ensuring customers receive a consistently high standard of customer service.
  4. Liaison with the Operations Team and our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to ensure mast is operational.
  5. Performing all common types of periodic maintenance and carry out inspections of installations in accordance with the applicable standards.
  6. Support ongoing operations at our Madrid hub and conduct inspections of incoming towers.
  7. Potentially manage the local stock supplies for your geographical area, including the timely ordering of necessary materials for the work to be carried out.

Qualifications:

  • Driver’s license: Full, valid driving license.
  • Experience in Field Service, Commissioning or related fields.
  • Mid-Level Experience.
  • Technical Diploma (mechanical, electrical or surveillance related) or Engineering Degree.
  • Languages: Native Spanish speaker and Conversational English skills (minimum B2).
  • Ability to use technology: General ability to use MS Office programs.
  • Technical Security background: is preferable, but not required.
