Bally’s Media operates Bally Sports Live and Stadium streaming services. Bally Sports Live offers real-time sports streaming and interactive fan engagement, while Stadium, a joint venture, is a FAST sports network broadcasting various sports and betting shows.

Team and Role

The team develops and delivers the Bally Sports LIVE & Stadium streaming platform. We’re seeking a Senior Web Engineer responsible for architecting and coding scalable, high-performance web experiences for media-rich content and video streaming.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver UX-focused features, optimize core web vitals, SEO, and ensure mobile responsiveness.
2. Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to create seamless client-side experiences for streaming and gaming.
3. Integrate ads using solutions like Google Ad Manager or MoPub.
4. Ensure application speed, accessibility, and performance across devices.
5. Work with DevOps and backend teams to integrate APIs, leverage AWS services, and implement CI/CD practices.
6. Conduct code reviews and maintain technical ownership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in performance optimization and SEO for high-traffic websites, with knowledge of Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with AWS services (API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, Lambda, EKS).
• Proficiency in modular, event-driven, and API-driven architectures, especially in media-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with video streaming architectures and media delivery patterns.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI / LLM technologies for content discovery and personalization.
• Experience with accessibility standards and multi-region support.
