Job summary

Santander is seeking a Vice President to lead Structured Finance in the Energy sector in the United States. You will originate, structure, and distribute syndicated loans, coordinating deal teams and senior client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in syndicated loans, strong financial modeling, negotiation, and presentation skills, with ability to travel. Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred. Remote work is possible for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent
• Master's Degree in related field preferred
• 9+ years in business development, product specialist management, or related experience
• Proven success in syndicated loan transactions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities
• Ability to travel within territory and work remotely

Responsibilities

• Execute origination, structuring and distribution of syndicated loans
• Lead deal teams and manage senior client relationships
• Oversee underwriting process and ensure due diligence
• Develop and maintain lender relationships to ensure market demand
• Collaborate with relationship managers on new business opportunities
• Mentor junior staff and oversee pipeline growth
• Travel within assigned territory as required
