PawCo is a VC-backed startup leading the premium pet food market on a mission to change the way our dogs eat and live. We’re building a trusted brand for pet parents who want the best for their furry companions. This role is critical in ensuring seamless production, logistics, and customer satisfaction as we expand.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented Product Designer with a strong foundation in both UI and UX — and a solid eye for brand — to join the Pawco team. Your role will be instrumental in evolving both the product experience and the visual identity of the brand — bringing polish, consistency, and scalability across the board.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and implement a robust, scalable design system.
• Conduct and synthesize user research (interviews, usability testing, data insights) to inform design decisions.
• Identify usability gaps and propose elegant, thoughtful solutions.
• Shape and extend our brand visually — from packaging to marketing layouts to overall visual direction.
• Contribute to both high-level design strategy and hands-on execution.
• Design experiences that drive engagement, retention, and conversion.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketing to ensure design solutions meet business and user goals.
• You will report directly to the Head of Product and collaborate closely with our small but growing design team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UI / UX.
• Strong brand design sensibility — including experience with packaging, visual layouts, and creative tooling (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience in e-commerce or subscription-based products.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and conversion optimization.
• A strong portfolio showing product design work and brand / visual design projects.
