Sofar is seeking an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the utility-scale solar and BESS market. You will drive large-project opportunities with EPCs, developers, and utilities, delivering strategic proposals and closing contracts.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in utility-scale solar/BESS sales, a deep PV and energy storage understanding, and a proven ability to travel up to 50% to pursue opportunities globally.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of utility-scale solar/BESS sales experience with large projects.
• Demonstrated track record of closing large-scale solar or energy storage deals.
• Strong understanding of PV, grid connection, inverter/BESS technologies.
• Familiar with EPC tendering, project development, and financing structures.
• Extensive network with developers, EPCs, or utilities is highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Identify key stakeholders: IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities; build partnerships.
• Lead full sales cycle: identify projects, bid, negotiate, and close contracts.
• Provide technical and commercial support: system solutions and value propositions.
• Monitor market trends, policies, and competitor activities in the sector.
• Meet or exceed annual sales targets through pipeline management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized proposals.
• Represent Sofar at industry events and customer meetings.
