Sofar is seeking an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the utility-scale solar and BESS market across Spain. The role focuses on developing and closing large-scale projects with EPCs, developers, and utilities, leveraging a strong solar energy background and project leadership.

You will manage the full sales cycle, build key partnerships, monitor market trends, and provide technical and commercial support.

Formación

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar/BESS sales with large projects.
Proven track record in managing and closing large-scale solar or energy storage projects.
Strong understanding of PV systems, grid connection, and inverter/BESS technologies.
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%).

Responsabilidades

Develop and execute sales strategies targeting utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
Identify and engage with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities, building long-term partnerships.
Lead full sales cycle from project identification, bidding, negotiation to contract closure.
Provide technical and commercial support, including system solutions and value proposition.
Monitor market trends, policies, and competitor activities in utility-scale solar.
Achieve or exceed annual sales targets through pipeline management and forecasting.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and proposals.
Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings, reporting on pipeline and insights.
