Rovio is seeking a Lead Game Developer in Barcelona, Spain, to build complex features and shape the technical architecture of our games. You will guide a team of game developers, collaborate with producers and a multi-disciplinary squad, and drive high-quality code and performance for millions of players.

You will work in a hybrid setup with two to three office days per week, focusing on crafting robust features, architecture, and engineering excellence while maintaining open communication

Formación

• 8+ years of game development experience with a proven track record of shipping titles.
• Deep programming expertise with C# and the Unity engine.
• Strong background in building solid game architecture using SOLID design principles.
• Great focus on debugging, profiling, and performance optimization for target platforms.
• Clear, thoughtful communication skills to motivate and organize the team.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsabilidades

• Crafting key product features from initial design to implementation.
• Ensuring top-notch code quality, documentation, and game performance.
• Owning technical architecture and building robust, scalable solutions.
• Leading technical aspects across the project and upholding high-quality code standards.
• Guiding and supporting developers across the game team.
• Partnering with producers to plan, schedule, and prioritize the backlog.
• Sharing knowledge and collaborating with Rovio teams across the company.
• Refining processes, tools, and workflows to help the team thrive.
