Rovio is seeking a Lead Game Developer to build complex features and shape the technical architecture of our next title, while guiding a team of developers.

You will work closely with the producer, tech lead, and cross-disciplinary game team to craft engaging experiences for millions of players, focusing on code quality, performance, and scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes ownership, mentoring, and agile planning with producers in a collaborative, open-communication culture.

Formación

• 8+ years of game development experience
• Proven track record of shipping titles
• Strong programming expertise in C# and Unity
• Solid game architecture using SOLID principles
• Great focus on debugging, profiling, and performance for targets
• Clear, thoughtful communication to motivate and organize the team
• Familiarity with agile practices and proactive problem solving

Responsabilidades

• Crafting key product features from design to implementation.
• Ensuring top-notch code quality, documentation, and game performance.
• Taking ownership of technical architecture for robust, scalable game features.
• Leading technical aspects across the project and upholding development standards.
• Guiding, supporting, and coordinating with developers across the game team.
• Partnering with producers to plan, schedule, and prioritize the backlog.
• Sharing knowledge and coordinating with other teams at Rovio.
• Refining processes, tools, and workflows to help the team thrive.
