Rovio is seeking a Lead Game Developer in Barcelona to build complex features and shape the technical architecture of our games, while guiding a team of developers to deliver high-quality experiences.

You will own technical direction, partner with producers, ensure top-tier code quality, performance, and robust architectures across platforms, and thrive in a hybrid setup with 2–3 days in the office per week.

Formación

• 8+ years of game development experience.
• Deep programming expertise with C# and the Unity engine.
• Strong background in building solid game architecture using SOLID design principles.
• Great focus on debugging, profiling and performance optimization.
• Clear, thoughtful communication skills for team motivation and organization.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and proactive problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Crafting key product features from initial design to implementation.
• Ensuring top-notch code quality, documentation, and game performance.
• Taking ownership of technical architecture, building robust and scalable solutions for game features.
• Leading technical aspects across the project, guiding high-quality code implementation and development standards.
• Guiding, supporting, and cooperating with developers across the game team.
• Partnering with producers to plan, schedule, and prioritize the project backlog.
• Sharing knowledge and connecting with other teams at Rovio.
• Refining processes, tools, and workflows to help the team thrive.
