Job summary

IDOM is seeking a Senior Traction Power Specialist to oversee the design and delivery of 2x25 kV AC traction power systems for the California High-Speed Rail project. You will act as the technical authority and manage multidisciplinary interfaces while ensuring compliance with EN/TSI and US/FRA regulations.

The role requires at least 12 years of experience in traction power systems, including design and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–15+ years’ experience in traction power systems.
• Proven delivery of high-speed rail electrification over 250 km/h.
• Direct experience in 2x25 kV AC systems required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of traction power systems.
• Oversee TPSS, grid connections, and system studies.
• Ensure compliance with EN/TSI and US/FRA requirements.
