A leading IT services company is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a remote position in Spain. The role involves reviewing test procedures, defining test objectives, and developing automated test cases, requiring advanced skills in Selenium and Java. Ideal candidates will have over 6 years of hands-on experience in test automation and agile environments, and will play a key role in ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Formación

• 6+ years experience in test automation, especially with Selenium.
• Strong proficiency in Java for web automation.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and test management in JIRA.

Test Automation – Web Testing

Location : Remote, Spain

Responsibilities

• Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.
• Define test objectives, create test plans, and develop automated test cases / procedures.
• Provide clear and concise test results to management and customers.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in test automation, specifically using Selenium.
• QA automation with development skills—ability to write automation scripts from scratch.
• Extensive knowledge of DOM and POM model.
• Basic knowledge of ReactJS and CSS.
• High proficiency in Java (Selenium) for web automation testing.
• Hands-on experience creating Gherkin scripts based on Cucumber framework.
• Experience with BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
• Experience with CI / CD tools like Bitbucket, GIT, and AWS.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum processes.
• Strong experience with JIRA test management tool.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile projects (Jira + Confluence).
• Experience in banking sector is a plus.
• API automation and mobile automation experience.
• Certifications such as ISTQB or other test automation / testing certifications are a plus.
