Job summary

Universidad de Alicante, through the University Institute for Materials Research, invites applications for a senior technologist to work on the project “Advanced Nanoporous Materials for Thermochemical Sorption Energy Storage.” The role is full-time and funded under I-PTGAI 54-26, with a monthly gross salary of €1,660.05.

The ideal candidate will perform instrumental synthesis and characterization of porous materials, contribute to data analysis, and collaborate across the research team

Qualifications

• Hold or be in the process of obtaining a 1st-cycle undergraduate degree or equivalent.
• PhD or Master’s degrees do not, in themselves, constitute qualifications for access to public employment.
• English language knowledge as per UA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Instrumental synthesis of porous materials (MOFs) and materials with hierarchical micro-mesoporosity.
• Characterisation of materials using diffraction, spectroscopy and thermal analysis.
• Collaborate with the research team on project tasks and reporting.
