Candidates should have a strong background in digital identity, including hands-on experience in technical architecture, APIs, and applied cryptography, with proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher. The position offers a fully remote work setup and a full-time contract.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect with extensive experience in digital identity standards to collaborate on a strategic project.

The selected professional will play a key role in designing developing and implementing innovative solutions in the field of digital identity working 100% remotely from any country in Europe.

The focus will be on the EU Digital Identity Wallet ensuring compliance with the most advanced regulations and international standards such as W3C ISO IETF OIDF OpenID Connect OAuth2 Decentralized Identifiers (DID) eIDAS KYC / AML and more.

Tasks

• Design technical architectures for digital credential issuance verification and management systems.
• Ensure integration of digital identity standards into software solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning user story creation and acceptance testing.
• Support security risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Optimize integration layers and data exchange processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and international teams to present technical solutions.
• Review deliverables after each sprint ensuring technical and functional quality.

Requirements

• English proficiency at C1 level or above (spoken and written)
• 6 years of experience in digital identity standards and technologies (W3C ISO IETF OIDF etc.)
• 2 years of experience editing IETF specifications for SD-JWTs
• 2 years contributing to ISO / IEC identity standards (ISOISO 23220)
• 5 years editing the W3C Verifiable Credentials Data Model (VCDM) 2.0
• 6 years of experience in agile project management (Scrum Kanban Lean)
• 6 years of specific experience in technical architecture applied to digital identity (Blockchain OAuth2 etc.)
