Berkley Spain is seeking a Senior Underwriter in Technology to lead and shape the Technology portfolio, focusing on Tech E&O and bundled solutions. You will collaborate with European teams, mentoring peers and driving market differentiation through data and AI-enabled underwriting tools.

Role involves senior-level authority, complex risk assessments, and cross-functional collaboration across Claims, Operations, Finance, Legal and Sales, with a focus on growth and portfolio quality.

Formación

• Minimum of five years of underwriting experience within Technology E&O or related segment.
• Experience with multinational insurance placements.
• Strong accountability, ownership and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with insureds, brokers and stakeholders.
• Digital fluency and data handling capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end underwriting for Technology E&O (stand-alone) and packaged solutions (Tech E&O/GL&PL/Cyber).
• Mentor and support underwriters; contribute to knowledge sharing across Spanish and European platforms.
• Develop and execute local market strategies with the Department Manager.
• Manage portfolio performance, pricing consistency and governance adherence.
• Collaborate with Claims, Operations, Finance, Legal and other teams for client/broker outcomes.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled underwriting tools and data analytics to improve risk selection and pricing.
