About the role

The tax department is located next to the accounting department within the finance structure. The team, comprising two members, manages all tax-related matters of the company. The information provided by this department is critical, must be perfectly justified, and submitted on time. Your primary contact will be the Tax Public Agency, which is highly demanding.

What will you be doing?

• Prepare and declare SII records (both automated and manual input)
• Manage daily SII reconciliation
• Ensure tax compliance on issued invoices and make necessary corrections
• Prepare monthly tax supporting documentation for issued and received invoices
• Provide all required information to tax authorities in response to their requests
• Respond to INE surveys and other public administration requests
• Assist in external audits and internal control processes

What we're looking for?

• An academic degree or vocational training related to finance and/or accounting
• At least four (4+) years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with SII declarations; knowledge of Spanish local tax, IFRS, PGC
• Experience dealing with the Tax Public Administration and other public bodies; control and reconciliation skills
• Proactive, analytical, problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills
• Computer literacy; experience with Navision or Netsuite ERP is desirable
• Good command of English is desirable
