Amazon Web Services (AWS) is building the inaugural European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) and seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to lead automation and operations for EU customers.

You will work within the Managed Operations team to deliver high-availability services across EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda and Bedrock, and help launch ESC in 2025. Expect to collaborate with global teams, mentor engineers, implement monitoring and SOPs, participate in on-call rotations, and enhance reliability, latency, and efficiency

Formación

• EU national and resident in the EU
• Proficient in Bash, Python or Ruby scripting
• Deep Linux and networking expertise with diagnostics
• Experience with monitoring and incident response
• Ability to create and improve SOPs

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation and operations for EU customers.
• Improve availability, latency, performance, and efficiency.
• Occasional on-call incident resolution.
