Job Description
    Req#: 3004722 EU ATS (Amazon Transportation Services) is a high-powered creative team which is shaping the transportation planning and execution within the Middle Mile operations network. This team develops and applies innovative transportation management concepts to improve and enhance the transportation network and bring the best customer experience through reliability and cost efficiencies.

    The EU ATS Network Operations (NetOps) team is looking for Senior Supply Chain Manager to own and implement strategic, cross-functional initiatives to improve the ATS network operations flow and drive cost out initiatives. Projects in this domain will impact all miles in Europe, such as the first mile, Customer Fulfillment Centers, ATS Sort Centers as well as Last Mile Delivery Stations.

    As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be working on multiple large-scale initiatives. You will drive highly ambiguous and complex problems to deliver actionable results and collaborate with other teams to maximize impact. The role is inherently cross-functional and the responsibilities include working across organizations and engaging with other Project/Program Managers, Senior Leadership from Sort Centers, etc.


    Key job responsibilities
    Key Responsibilities are:

    Lead the coordination with business, technical and senior leadership teams to own and identify operational requirements, and impact of Amazon wide initiatives across Amazon Transportation Services.
    Lead initiatives to prepare the network for peak volumes and achieve cost objectives by managing network transformations ensuring cost efficiently and maintaining the high customer experience bar.
    Responsible for managing all elements of the projects, including organizing and planning, estimating, managing resources, tracking projects, managing risk & opportunity, managing quality, communicating & documenting, and change management
    Good problem solving ability and technical aptitude. Ability to recognize gaps in change management, workflows and operational processes and procedures.
    Own metrics and performance indicators related to initiatives to measure overall performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.
    Communicate in a clear, precise, and regular format with all partners and stakeholders, including ongoing project status reports as well as capturing requirements from stakeholder teams. - Experience in program or project management
    - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
    - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
    - Experience leading process improvements
