Novartis in Barcelona seeks a Senior Study Leader to drive global clinical studies from planning through delivery, partnering with cross-functional experts to ensure quality, timelines, and budget objectives are met. You will develop operational strategies, timelines, and risk mitigation plans while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality clinical trial activities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or another clinically relevant discipline.
  • Significant experience leading clinical studies within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of international clinical research regulations, quality standards, and health authority requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within complex global matrix environments.
  • Excellent project management, planning, and risk management skills with a track record of delivery.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.

About The Role

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: €63,600 to € 118,000

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
