Utopia Design is looking for a remote Senior Structural Engineer for Luxury Hospitality Projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in leading the design development of innovative structural designs for complex geometry roofs, facades, and cantilevering elements.

Responsibilities :

• Lead structural design development of high-end luxury villas and hotels
• Collaborate daily with the internal design office, client’s representatives, local designers, and third-party consultants
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the internal design team and local designers, advising on cost-efficient, modern, and optimal structural design methods and practices
• Ensure seamless integration of the initial design intent
• Oversee designers', consultants', and contractors' work, reviewing their design submissions
• Lead the creation and maintenance of a corporate structural design guideline to ensure alignment with employer requirements at the company level

Requirements :

Graduated civil engineer with a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering

Minimum 6 years of structural design development experience

At least 2 years in a senior engineer or team leader position

Experience with at least two complex construction projects from concept to completion

Knowledge of Tekla or other structural modelling and calculations software; Revit compatibility is preferable

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks

Professional level of English (C1) and Spanish / Portuguese
