Utopia Design is looking for a remote Senior Structural Engineer for Luxury Hospitality Projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in leading the design development of innovative structural designs for complex geometry roofs, facades, and cantilevering elements.

Responsibilities :

• Lead structural design development of high-end luxury villas and hotels
• Collaborate daily with the internal design team, Client’s representatives, local designers, and third-party consultants
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the internal design team and local designers, advising on cost-effective, modern, and optimal structural design methods
• Ensure seamless integration of the initial design intent
• Oversee work of designers, consultants, and contractors; review their design submissions
• Lead the creation and maintenance of a corporate structural design guideline to ensure alignment with employer requirements

Requirements

• Graduated civil engineer with a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering
• Minimum 8 years of structural design development experience
• At least 2 years in a senior engineer or team leader role
• Experience with at least two complex construction projects from concept to completion
• Proficient in Tekla or other structural modeling and calculation software; Revit compatibility preferred
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Professional level of English (C1) and Spanish or Portuguese

Considered an advantage :

• Experience in bionic, generative patterns, parametric, and computational design
