Job summary

Arup in Spain is expanding its strategy, transformation and business case advisory capabilities within the Transport, Mobility & Infrastructure sector. We seek an experienced consultant to lead workstreams, drive strategic planning, develop business cases and guide governance and implementation planning for complex programmes.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, engaging with transport operators, infrastructure owners and public authorities.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, transformation, programme advisory or related fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
Experience leading complex workstreams and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work independently and proactively in evolving environments.
Experience in business case development, transformation programmes and operating model design.

Responsibilities

Support clients in addressing strategic, operational and organisational challenges within transport/mobility sectors.
Develop strategic assessments, transformation roadmaps and implementation plans.
Design future operating models and support organisational change initiatives.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement and strategic discussions.
Translate complex challenges into structured recommendations and actionable programmes.
Lead consulting workstreams with a high degree of autonomy and coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary teams.
Manage project planning, quality assurance and client-facing outputs.
Contribute to proposal development and business development activities.
