Full-Time Salary: 55,000 - €60,000 per annum

Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days / week from Sant Cugat office)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced software developer to join our team in Barcelona (Sant Cugat). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, expertise in PostgreSQL, and experience with large-scale analytical and high-volume data projects.

Technical Skills Required

• 10+ years of overall software development experience
• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience as a PostgreSQL and Databricks developer
• Candidates with a background in Oracle or other relational databases and 2–3 years of PostgreSQL experience are welcome
• Strong understanding of analytical project workflows: data analysis, hypothesis validation, and data-driven decision-making
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and scripts
• Experience in database performance tuning, bottleneck resolution, and ER modeling

Deep Knowledge of:

• PostgreSQL Architecture
• Query optimization
• Index management
• Integrity checks & statistics
• Isolation levels
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL support for JSON and handling JSON data types

Preferred experience in CRM-related projects.

Process Skills

Understanding of Databricks migration processes.

Behavioral Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and interface effectively with customers.

Certifications

Any relevant PostgreSQL or database certification will be an added advantage.
