Job summary

Welo Data in Spain seeks an Expert Rater (ER) to support and coach fellow Raters, guiding annotation practices and ensuring high-quality AI data for advertising systems. You will drive test rounds with clients, interpret templates, and mentor the team to improve rating accuracy and decision-making.

The role is freelance, approximately 30 hours/week, starting July 27, with potential extension to 40 hours and a 1-month project duration. Local Spanish context applies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of rating experience required.
• Understanding of data labeling, annotation, and evaluation methodologies.
• Academic background in social sciences or quality roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Raters in skill development and best practices.
• Ensure unbiased annotation and gold set creation per templates.
• Analyze datasets to identify patterns and KPIs.
• Coach and mentor Raters to improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with clients and CEM to conduct test rounds.
• Conduct tier 2 reviews and evaluations.
• Create client-facing emails and feedback.
