Job summary

Indra Group is seeking a Senior Software System Architect to drive system specification, architecture, and design for space software systems. You will lead validation and acceptance activities and develop solutions in Linux with Java, while deploying robust SQL/NoSQL databases and leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects focused on space technology, data platforms, and advanced digital solutions for aerospace, joining

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a Software Engineering focus.
• At least 5 years in system specification, architecture, design, validation and acceptance.
• Strong experience in Linux-based Java development.
• Proven SQL database design and deployment experience.
• Gathers requirements and defines software architectures from scratch or from legacy systems.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Define and capture system requirements and translate them into robust software architectures and designs.
• Lead the specification, architecture, design, validation, and acceptance of complex software systems.
• Develop and maintain software solutions in Linux environments using Java and other modern languages.
• Design, deploy, and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Contribute to scalable applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate Big Data, AI, Cybersecurity, and distributed processing platforms.
