Indra Space is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Responsible to lead and coordinate embedded software activities for space-grade systems. You will manage engineering teams, drive the full software lifecycle, and ensure compliance with space standards and quality processes.

The role requires 5+ years in space or complex embedded systems, strong C/C++ development, Linux/PetaLinux, and MBSE experience with Capella and Enterprise Architect.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in space sector.
• Proven experience leading and managing software teams.
• Strong embedded software development in C and C++.
• Experience with microprocessor-based systems and Linux environments including PetaLinux.
• Solid knowledge of Python programming.
• Experience with software version management tools and quality validation processes.
• Strong background in systems engineering, especially early lifecycle phases.
• Hands-on MBSE using Capella and Enterprise Architect at an advanced level.
• Good understanding of GNSS systems, signals, performance, RF interference and geolocation.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate embedded software activities and mentor engineering teams.
• Drive full software lifecycle from planning to deployment.
• Apply systems engineering best practices across conception, specification and design.
• Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for microprocessor-based systems.
• Contribute to MBSE activities using Capella and Enterprise Architect.
• Ensure compliance with space standards (ESA ECSS or similar) and quality validation.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on GNSS-based systems.
