Indra Group in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Senior Software System Architect to lead system specification, software architecture and design for mission-critical space software systems. You will design, validate and implement Linux-based Java solutions, and manage SQL/NoSQL databases within containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a Software Engineering specialization.
• At least 5 years of experience in system specification, architecture, design, validation and acceptance.
• Strong experience in Linux-based Java development; advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Define and capture system requirements and translate them into robust software architectures and designs.
• Lead the specification, architecture, design, validation and acceptance of complex software systems.
• Develop software solutions in Linux environments using Java and related languages.
• Design, deploy and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Contribute to scalable applications using Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps practices across the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate Big Data, AI, Cybersecurity and distributed platforms.
