Senior Software Platform Engineer

Location: Barcelona - Spain
Hybrid
Full time

Our Team: In the Accelerator's Platform Team

Your key responsibilities will be :

• Improve the Developer Experience
• Lower the technical overhead for squads / pods
• Prove concepts that can bring better standards and deploy them
• Support and help all teams when necessary
• Build various tools in a large environment (CLI, libraries, IaC, workflow)
• Create documentation and recommendations on building Cloud Native solutions
• Advocate for the solutions built

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications

You don't need to check all the points! If you fit only a few, that's fine. But expect to work on most of these:

• Thirst for knowledge
• Experience with Cloud Providers
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, etc.)
• Knowledge of building libraries and tools
• Knowledge of complex API systems (network, redundancy, security, logging)
• Ability to work in a cross-team environment
• Help and support other teams
• Knowledge of transversal activities (security, optimization, processes) is a plus
• English fluency is mandatory
• Experience in driving alignment across multiple teams
• Service-oriented, flexible, positive team player
• Self-motivated, proactive
• Problem-solving & critical thinking
• Good communication skills

Your Background

6+ years of experience preferred, but not mandatory if you possess the necessary knowledge.

No diploma required, but a Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering is a plus.

Experience in innovative environments or healthcare industry is a plus.

Languages:

Fluent spoken and written English
