About the Trust & Safety Team

As a member of the Trust & Safety Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in fostering trust and ensuring safety within our vibrant community of pet owners and care providers. Our mission is to protect and empower our users by verifying identities, providing sitters with essential information to deliver exceptional pet care, and preventing fraud across our platform. We are dedicated to developing innovative features that uphold the integrity of our services and swiftly identifying and removing any bad actors to maintain a secure and welcoming environment. Join us in shaping a platform where trust, safety, and the well-being of our beloved pets are always our top priorities!

Your Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience as a professional software developer.
• Strong and proven knowledge of ReactJS or React Native.
• Familiarity with Python or another backend language.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of relational databases and schema design.
• Passionate about automated testing, code quality, and general software engineering best practices.
• Experience with different agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban / XP).

Bonus Skills :

• Professional experience with Django and other Python-based frameworks.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (like Playwright or Cypress).
• Familiarity with TDD and BDD.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog and Splunk.
• Experience with continuous integration / deployment tools.
