Perk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end features in a fast-growing, AI-enabled platform. You will work in small, cross-functional squads with product managers and engineers to ship reliable, scalable software for a global customer base.

Based near Barcelona, you will join an in-person team three days a week, with relocation support available for certain roles. We value ownership, pragmatism, and impact, and encourage mentors to elevate the whole engineering organization.

Formación

• Translates complex business goals into technical roadmaps
• De-risks ambiguous projects through spikes and prototyping
• Architects scalable, evolvable systems and data models
• Defines and upholds engineering excellence including CI/CD, testing, and coding standards
• Establishes frontend architecture patterns and testing (e.g., E2E/Cypress)
• Engineers sophisticated backend solutions including API versioning and data migrations
• Leads observability and SRE practices; defines SLOs and incident responses
• Oversees operational security and dependency risk management
• Mentors and influences the engineering organization across teams
• Coordinates multi-team deliverables and resolves blockers across the organization
• Experience with AI-augmented workflows and agentic development

Responsabilidades

• Shape the bigger picture and contribute to the squad's quarterly goals and long-term vision
• Architect for today and tomorrow by writing design documents and guiding technical quality
• Lead across boundaries to align stakeholders and drive cross-squad initiatives
• Raise the bar through mentoring, reviews, and showcasing great engineering practices
• Participate in AI-driven development and leverage AI in daily coding practices
