About this role :

Cisco Isovalent seeks an accomplished Senior Software Engineer with expertise in architecture, delivery, Red Hat infrastructure, and operations. You will contribute to advancing networking and security within Kubernetes environments.

What You’ll Do :

• Architect and develop solutions on Red Hat OpenShift
• Collaborate in code reviews, architectural discussions, customer support escalations, and contribute to technical documentation
• Implement CI / CD pipelines to streamline operations

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience in architecture, delivery, or senior consulting roles
• Familiarity with Red Hat infrastructure, including OpenShift, Linux, and Virtualization
• Experience with operations, onboarding applications to the cloud, and implementing CI / CD
• Proficiency in Go or Python programming languages

Preferred Qualifications :

• Desire to write high-quality automation code and Kubernetes operators (Go preferred)
• Previous contributions to open source projects
