Job Description :

Axis Security - Acquired by HPE Aruba, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated software developer for our team in Axis Security Israel. You will design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable software applications, contribute to architectural decisions, optimize data pipelines, and ensure code quality through best practices. Your expertise in performance optimization, mentorship, and collaboration will be crucial in delivering high-quality software solutions. Passion for problem-solving, Agile development, and continuous learning are essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Software Development : Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality software applications.
• System Architecture : Contribute to architectural decisions ensuring efficient system design.
• Data Engineering & Analytics : Design and optimize data pipelines, integrating data into data lakes.
• Code Quality & Best Practices : Write clean, maintainable code, enforce standards (SOLID, TDD, CI / CD).
• Performance Optimization : Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance and security.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with product managers, designers, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Problem-Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Agile Development : Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Experience : 5+ years in software development.
• Frameworks & Technologies : Experience with .NET Core & React.
• Databases : Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Microservices & APIs : Building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Data Lakes & Warehouses (Advantage) : Experience with big data processing and storage vendors.
• Cloud Platforms (Advantage) : AWS, Azure, GCP experience.
• Security & Compliance (Advantage) : Secure coding practices, data protection regulations.
• Testing (Advantage) : Unit, integration, automated testing frameworks.
• CI / CD & DevOps (Advantage) : Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, or similar tools.
• Education (Advantage) : Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Software Engineering, or relevant military training.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

• Experience with Data Lake & Warehouse vendors.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Understanding of secure coding and data regulations.
• Experience with testing frameworks and CI / CD tools.
• Front-end knowledge (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Contributions to open-source or personal projects.
• Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.

Soft Skills :

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Passion for continuous learning.
