Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/React) for an independent contractor role based in Spain.

You will develop backend Golang microservices and frontend UI with React and TypeScript, delivering scalable, data-intensive features. You will own features end-to-end, influence architecture, and drive improvements in performance, observability, and automation, while collaborating with a distributed team across Product and stakeholders.

Formación

• Experience developing backend services and web apps with Go, deploying services in Docker containers.
• Experience building modern frontend with React/TypeScript, focusing on performance and usability.
• SQL experience with relational databases and data-intensive apps.
• Strong clean-code and idiomatic TS/Go, with engineering standards.
• Ability to learn quickly and communicate with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; commitment to learning.
• Go concurrency (goroutines) experience is a plus.
• CI/CD with GitLab is a plus.
• Observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana are advantageous.
• Experience with MaterialUI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform is welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance Golang microservices and frontend applications.
• Build polished, performant React/TypeScript UI components following the design system.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from ideation to production and improvement.
• Contribute to technical strategy by evaluating architectures and trade-offs.
• Improve performance, reliability, and observability with monitoring and best practices.
• Raise engineering quality through code reviews, automation, and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
