Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Spain to build a data-intensive platform and own features end-to-end. You will design backend Go services and frontend React/TypeScript interfaces, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable solutions.

You will contribute to architecture, testing, and production deployment, while upholding high standards and continuously learning in a remote, contractor setup.

Formación

• Proven track record in building production-grade software systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Golang backend services and concurrent systems.
• Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills with MariaDB or similar relational databases.
• Clean-code principles and idiomatic Go/TypeScript development.
• Experience with Docker and containerised deployment.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable software systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ownership of features from concept to production.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience with GitLab CI is a plus.
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana desirable.
• Experience using AI tools to boost engineering productivity is a plus.
• Familiarity with Material UI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform beneficial.
• Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Golang microservices and React/TypeScript frontend apps.
• Own features from ideation through deployment and improvement.
• Build performant, accessible customer interfaces using React/TypeScript.
• Develop backend services with Go and deploy via Docker environments.
• Make architectural decisions balancing legacy systems and scalability.
• Improve performance, reliability, and observability of services.
• Maintain high engineering standards with clean-code and reviews.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to meet business needs.
• Contribute to automation and new tech to improve teams.
