From Timup, recruitment consultancy, we are collaborating with a deep tech company. As they continue to grow and attract Tier 1 clients across multiple industries, they are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their highly skilled and international tech team.

Main responsibilities:

You will be part of the core product team, working on a state-of-the-art edge and multi-cloud service orchestrator that adheres to open-source and industry standards. In close collaboration with global clients, you will:

• Design and implement new product features based on client needs

• Take ownership of key backend components and services

• Contribute to technical discussions, documentation, and code reviews

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems

This role requires a strong capacity for critical thinking, decision-making, fast learning, and teamwork. You should be able to work autonomously while keeping in mind the priorities of the business and the development team.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in backend development

• 4+ years working with Go

• Solid experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests

• Proven ability to debug and fix complex issues

• Good understanding of distributed systems and their challenges

• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams

• Fast learner, adaptable and proactive

• Familiarity with container orchestration, especially Kubernetes

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of clean or hexagonal architectures

• Familiarity with the twelve-factor app methodology

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Crossplane

• Exposure to CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
