Job summary

ENGIE is seeking a Software Developer (Mid/Senior) for its Madrid headquarters to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions supporting ENGIE's B2B energy supply activities. You will work across applications, APIs, integrations, and services with a strong emphasis on quality, security, availability and service continuity.

You will contribute hands-on throughout the software lifecycle, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, while growing technical autonomy

Qualifications

• Experience with software development lifecycle and production deployments.
• Knowledge of security, observability, and incident management.
• Proficiency with Angular, Python, FastAPI and REST/JSON APIs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse functional and technical requirements to translate business needs into software solutions.
• Design and develop components, APIs, integrations, and automations.
• Write and maintain tests to ensure reliable releases and quality.
• Review code and mentor teammates for maintainability and performance.
• Handle deployments and change control following governance rules.
• Monitor production systems and resolve incidents with root-cause analysis.
