ENGIE in Madrid is seeking a Tech Lead – ENGIE B2B IT to provide technical leadership while remaining hands‑on across analysis, design, development, deployment and operation of ENGIE B2B IT solutions. You will help ensure applications are secure, maintainable, scalable and highly available.

Reporting to the Digital & IT Lead within Energy Supply Iberia, you will organize the team's technical execution, mentor developers, coordinate suppliers and lead response to complex production incidents.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent in CS/CE or related field.
6+ years of software development experience and leadership.
Strong hands‑on command of Angular, Python and FastAPI.
Experience with REST/JSON APIs and RBAC.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical evolution of the B2B IT landscape and translate priorities into design decisions.
Design and develop critical software components and integrations hands‑on.
Organise the team's technical work, define dependencies and remove blockers.
Ensure solution quality through architecture reviews, testing and security controls.
Make technical decisions within governance framework and manage technical debt.
Monitor service health and lead incident response, solving complex production problems.
Define deployment, monitoring, recovery and escalation procedures; promote DevSecOps practices.
Mentor the team and develop technical capabilities through knowledge sharing.
