About the role

As the Senior Engineer of the Data Feeds Team, you will play a pivotal role in integrating thousands of diamond and jewelry suppliers in real time with our online jewelry stores worldwide. You will lead efforts to build and refine our scalable and resilient Data Feeds System, enabling suppliers to customize markup and selection.

What You'll Do

• Drive expansion of Nivoda's data feeds and API offerings, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and optimize our online platform to ensure it is scalable, competitive, and aligned with product vision.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines throughout development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, supporting internal teams and customers.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to proactively enhance Nivoda's platform.

Your qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience, including significant tech leadership in building resilient, scalable platforms.
• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer with a track record of leading successful projects.
• Strong knowledge of backend languages such as Node.js or Python, with experience designing database schemas and queries.
• Experience with streaming data tools like Kafka, Apache Spark, or Flink.
• Solid understanding of GraphQL API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in building cloud-native distributed systems on platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in building pricing rule engines or monetization platforms is a plus.
