RavenPack is searching for a Senior ML / NLP Researcher to join our Data Solutions Research Team at our Spanish headquarters. We offer competitive compensation and a fun working environment. Relocation assistance is available.

As a ML / NLP Researcher you will play a key role creating innovative data products, both supporting internal processes and by engaging directly with clients as part of the product discovery process, allowing you to gather feedback and iterate on development to deliver impactful solutions.

The ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbally is a must.

Only candidates with EU legal working status will be considered.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to develop data-driven solutions that directly enhance our external products as well as the internal tools and processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of those.
2. Apply your expertise to tackle real-world challenges, demonstrating the benefits of systematic, data-driven processes. These can range from optimizing systematic processes for curating and maintaining our Knowledge Graphs, and enhancing document contextualization for improved retrieval, to fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for specialized tasks, and coordinating various agents within LLM-driven workflows, among other possibilities.
3. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to ensure our solutions remain competitive and relevant.

What We're Looking For:

1. A Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, with practical, hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and a strong understanding of state-of-the-art language models.
2. 5+ years of industry experience, contributing to business growth.
3. Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to apply logical and mathematical reasoning to a variety of challenges.
4. Experience using deep learning frameworks (Pytorch, HuggingFace, etc.).
5. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical models for time series forecasting.
6. A clear and precise communicator who thrives in collaborative environments, working effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.
7. Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with SQL or other database languages.

Desired Skills:

1. A proven track record of contributing to original research, with a comfort level in exploring new and uncharted areas while maintaining clarity of purpose.
2. Experience in building and coordinating various LLM agents to enhance complex workflows.
3. Strong project management skills, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery of data projects.
4. Ideal candidates would have some financial domain expertise.
