Moody's seeks a Senior Web Software Engineer to build serverless, cloud-native microservices using Python, TypeScript, and React, integrating GenAI into risk platforms. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, robust solutions at scale, while promoting clean code and solid architecture.

You will contribute to Moody's Digital Content & Innovations Engineering in Barcelona, helping clients navigate risk with confidence through modern, AI-enabled software practices.

Formación

• 5+ years in web software development with full web lifecycle.
• Strong Python/TypeScript background with modern frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-native, serverless architectures and databases.
• Familiarity with GenAI capabilities is a plus.

As a Senior Web Software Engineer, you will build and evolve serverless, cloud-native microservices using Python or TypeScript and React. You’ll integrate GenAI capabilities into cutting-edge AI-enabled risk platforms and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. You will help shape Moody’s Digital Content & Innovations Engineering by driving clean code, solid design, and practical architectures. This role offers the chance to impact how clients navigate risk with confidence at scale. You’ll work in a collaborative, innovative environment that values curiosity and integrity.

• Build serverless microservices with TypeScript, Python and React, ensuring integration with AI systems
• Collaborate on integration of GenAI solutions across front-end and back-end layers
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions
• Tackle complex problems using cutting-edge technologies
• Lead code reviews, workshops, and create documentation to support teammates
• Architect, develop, and maintain cloud-native content delivery solutions
• 5+ years of web software development with full web lifecycle
• 5+ years in Python or TypeScript with frameworks like FastAPI or Node.js
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Experience with micro-services and/or event-driven architectures in cloud serverless environments
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, SOLID, CQRS and Hexagonal Architecture
• Obsessed with clean code and agile engineering practices
• Self-driven, collaborative, and innovative team player
• Knowledge of AI frameworks and tools (advantageous)
• Experience with high volumes of data (advantageous)
• Experience with AWS ecosystem (CloudFormation, ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)
