Clarivate Analytics in Barcelona seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver AI-powered backend capabilities for the Cortellis CMC platform. You will own architecture and delivery, collaborating with distributed engineering teams to build scalable, reliable systems that power regulatory intelligence for life sciences.

The role focuses on Java backend services and APIs within a microservices architecture; you will also develop scalable solutions using TypeScript and Node.js (Nest.js),

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems.
• 5+ years experience with TypeScript and Node.js (Nest.js).
• 5+ years designing and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years working with microservices and distributed architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native deployments.
• Production-grade software development and deployment of AI-powered capabilities.

In this role you will design and deliver AI-powered backend capabilities within Clarivate's Cortellis CMC platform in Barcelona. You will own architecture and delivery, collaborating with distributed engineering teams to build scalable, reliable systems that power regulatory intelligence for life sciences. You’ll tackle data and performance challenges, and integrate AI into production services and APIs. This is an opportunity to shape high-impact backend infrastructure that accelerates pharma innovation and compliance.
