Pentasia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Game Engine experience to join a team powering high-quality online casino games. The candidate will contribute to engine design, optimization, and reusable components across multiple titles.

The role demands hands-on engineering with a deep background in game architecture, 2D/3D rendering, and performance tuning. Experience in iGaming environments is highly desirable, with collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Strong professional experience developing or working with a Game Engine or Game Framework.
• Senior-level experience in software engineering.
• Solid understanding of game architecture, game loops, state management, and game mechanics.
• Experience with 2D/3D rendering, graphics, animation, WebGL, Canvas, or similar technologies.
• Experience building reusable and scalable game components/frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain game engine and core gaming technologies.
• Build reusable components and frameworks used across multiple casino games.
• Develop and optimize game logic, game states, animations, rendering, and core game functionality.
• Improve engine performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Work closely with Game Developers, Artists, Product Managers, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Contribute to technical architecture and make decisions around the evolution of the game engine.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and performance issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a strong software engineering background and proven experience working on game engines, game frameworks, or core game technology. Experience in iGaming, online casino, slots, or other real-money gaming environments is highly desirable.
