The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in software development within Financial Institutions, strong skills in Sybase, PL/SQL, and Python, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. Formación

Job Title : Software Engineer senior

Location : Anywhere in EU

Duration : 6-12 months

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or engineering.
• In the absence of a Bachelor / Master degree in the relevant field, demonstrated equivalent professional experience of at least 7 years can be accepted.

Mandatory Experience

• 7 years of experience in the field of Software Development for Financial Institutions.
• Knowledge of software development methodology, design and lifecycles.
• Experience supporting WallStreet Suite TRM interfaces and CSDs developments.
• Strong experience with Sybase ASE, PL / SQL, Python, XML and Linux.
• Strong ability to understand context for source code, the source codebase, and its relation to business objectives.
• Ability to work both independently and on a team.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and software tools for agile planning as Jira.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI / CD principles and practices. Continuous build and integration using Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Liquibase, Junit.
• Behaviour driven testing and test automation using cucumber framework.
• GitHub or another source code repository.
• Knowledge of English.
