Job purpose :

You will work with our product team to design, implement and validate our product development to become the preferred brand for travellers and accommodations all over the world and the best way to connect for both of them.

The Product and Development team at Stayforlong is a forward-thinking group of technical professionals, devoted to crafting innovative solutions and streamlining our platform to create the best user experience.

Our team consists of skilled product managers, developers, UX / UI designers, and data scientists. We take pride in leveraging our technical prowess, coupled with customer insights, to create and maintain a user-friendly and technologically superior platform. Our collective aim is to evolve our product continually, ensuring it stands out in the competitive travel market.

Main job responsibilities are :

• Build backend services for a web-based product in an Agile environment.
• Develop and scale distributed systems.
• Design, implement and test your solutions.
• Integrations with 3rd party APIs.

What you will bring :

• 5+ years of experience in similar roles building technically complex products in Go, C++, Java or PHP.
• Comfortable with asynchronous programming techniques : streams, task queues, message queues.
• Soft skills : Collaborative, proactive, resolutive, analyst.

Valuable :

• Strong Go language knowledge.
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Experience working with data-driven products.
• Experience with cloud computing in general and AWS in particular.
• Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Datadog, Graylog, and New Relic.
• Ansible, Jenkins, Slack, and Git.
• Docker and AWS.
