A fast-growing tech business is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer on a freelance basis. This role involves joining a collaborative team working with Ruby on Rails and React on a platform that makes a real-world impact. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in fullstack development and a robust understanding of the required technologies. This is a fully remote position offering significant flexibility.

Formación

Scaling Tech Teams Across the UK & Europe

I'm working with a fast-growing tech business that’s scaling their engineering function and looking to onboard a Senior Fullstack Engineer on a freelance basis.

You’ll be joining a highly collaborative team working on a platform focused on real-world impact, with a solid tech stack across Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS.

Location : Fully remote

Contract type : Freelance (B2B)

Must have :

• 5+ years' experience in fullstack roles
• Strong hands-on with Ruby on Rails
• Frontend experience using React (or similar JS frameworks)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OOP, SOLID principles
• Testing mindset – experience with RSpec, Capybara
• Exposure to AWS services (S3, EC2, CloudFront etc.)
• Experience working in Agile teams

Nice to have :

• Experience in Health tech
• Spanish language (bonus, not essential)
• Experience with CI / CD tools – GitHub Actions, Capistrano
• Monitoring tools – Datadog, Sentry, New Relic
