A leading e-commerce company is seeking a Senior Software Developer (m/f/d PHP) to join their IT team in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing web and backend applications, applying DevOps methodologies, and ensuring high code quality. Candidates should have a degree in computer science and over 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in e-commerce solutions. This role offers variety and autonomy, allowing you to choose your area of focus within a dynamic team.

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Solid working knowledge of PHP and experience in the e-commerce field.
• Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases.

Senior Software Developer m / f / d PHP

As part of our IT team, you will ensure smooth functionality within one of our departments, playing a crucial role in the overall success of the company. You are an expert in PHP with extensive experience in complex online stores. You are communicative and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You will develop professional web and backend applications, with agile software development, ensuring variety and autonomy in your work. You are passionate about clean software architecture employing domain-driven design, maintaining high code quality, and actively engaging with DevOps topics.

With our diverse departments we offer a variety of tasks and areas, including : developing innovative solutions for print data and automated rule-based print data adjustments, automating and standardizing shipping and production processes, optimizing throughput times and transferring order information to production, implementing product master data projects, optimizing our product configurators, creating automated price calculations and system maintenance of our growing product catalog. You develop web and backend applications based on PHP You work with DevOps methods (e.g. continuous integration) as well as platforms and tools such as Git, Ansible, Docker (Swarm) You enjoy to share your knowledge with the team You plan requirements and implement them in the team You ensure compliance with clean software architecture principles and practices, including the use of domain-driven design (DDD) Business fluent English skills

Your profile :

A degree in computer science, a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist or equivalent vocational training 5+ years of software development experience The field of e-commerce is no longer new territory for you Solid working knowledge of PHP Proficiency in applying SOLID principles and design patterns in software development In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search), software architectures (e.g. EDA and related tools e.g. RabbitMQ), and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS) Experience in the automation of software tests using tools such as PHPUnit or Cypress Good understanding of web security best practices and secure coding techniques
