Senior Software Developer in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)

About the Job

Do you want to actively participate in the digital transformation of Allianz as a Software Developer, and work in international projects?

Would you like to take on making customer-focused web applications? In our "Customer Identity and Access Management" tribe, we manage the digital identities of Allianz customers. We are responsible for the login of customers, brokers, and agents, as well as the registration of new customers and prospects.

Are you used to commitment, self-initiative, and accountability in your work? We work in agile teams to build applications with real customer value. We rely on a DevOps concept and are looking for you as Software Developer for web application development. If you are creative, curious, and willing to learn new technologies, we should get to know each other.

What you do

• Work in an agile team and drive the development and operation of our IAM solutions in the cloud platform.
• Implement new features and improvements in frontend and/or backend.
• Add your technical view and expertise to the design of new functions.
• Contribute your ideas to the digital transformation of Allianz and implement them with your team.
• Uphold agile values and principles as an integral part of your daily work.
• Contribute to a self-managing team's planning and continuous improvement activities (e.g. Sprint Planning, Daily, Sprint Retrospective).
• As part of an agile team, you commit yourself to the team's shared goals and work with your teammates to deliver and run our IAM solutions.

What you bring

• Proficiency in programming languages and tools, including Angular, WebStorm for frontend, Java, Spring Boot, IntelliJ, Groovy, PostgreSQL and web service protocols for backend development.
• Experience in CI/CD and testing using Jenkins, Groovy, git, LoadRunner and Postman, as well as Ops tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, Grafana and Python.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM), with ForgeRock IDM know-how as a plus and Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.
• Knowledge of application monitoring, virtualization, data protection, data security and basic IT security.
• Experience in agile working methods, demonstrating strong customer orientation, enthusiasm for new technologies and teamwork skills.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• University degree in computer science or comparable practical experience, with practical experience in frontend and/or backend development.
